Epic mode Tim The Pirate has another form after the ship one. This form is called "Helical Tim" and all he does is the spin attack for an extensive period and the En garde without dashing at you.

For the watchers force orbs attack in his Ascent form, all you need to do is keep to the corner of the screen and not move when he throws a volley at you - Hey, it beats trying to outrun them. :)

Epic Ishmael: Pretty much a psychological trip.. you have to play it for yourself

Epic Watcher: Pretty easy, attacks go by a lot faster; didn't notice anything else.

Epic Secret Boss: First part is really easy. First head only does missles and one heart beam; in the transition between head 1 and 2 the floor between the left and middle and the middle and right are broken. This form's brain rain only drops one to attack in the middle. Third form afterwards with its own lifebar.

For the bonuses medal just grab all the secret items and beat the three main bosses on epic :).

Oh, and for the invinicible medal you only have to beat the 3 main bosses without getting hit.

Sorry, I already had them by the time I saw this guide. Nice writeup, there are lots of unlockables to remember in this game. I might try and do some videos of the boss battles if i have time
