This is a wonderful game.

I love the soothing calmness of the music as well as the silly atmosphere of the game. It took my mind off a lot of things and I was able to immerse myself in the simple and complex intricacies of this strange world. Thank you for making this game. If I ever find myself in need of relaxing I'll immerse myself in the world of the Raven Lock Smith once more.

Loved it just as much as I loved the AiD games.

It's a great twist to a story we've all grown up with. I've recently become a fan of these point and click games and I'm hoping you'll release more in the near future. The only problem I had with this was searching for the tonic ingredients. I had to do a bit of random clicking to find them, not that a real search wouldn't be randomly looking everywhere, but I thought it was a tiny bit annoying given that the search for the cricket was implemented perfectly. Great game!

Than you for the crit, I'll do better next time! :D

Too difficult.

Believe me when I say I tried. I tried and I tried to complete the game, but there's just a point where it's impossible. Either up the cloud's power/speed or make the zap power reload a little quicker. There's just no way to defeat everything when they move in groups.

Great little time waster.

I enjoyed how random just about everything was. If anyone is finding the game too difficult, focus on building your defense. I beat the game with just 25 hp and 90% of the time I didn't need it.

Very enjoyable game.

I'm not a huge fan of music based games, but I'm surprised at this one truly. I would like to drop a mild complaint though. On the "Native Faith" level, the game freezes on Round 13(2:38 on the music track). I can't seem to advance and it's a bit annoying. If you could fix that bug, it would be wonderful. Same issue happened with my brother. He used Firefox and I used Chrome.

FrozenFire responds:

If any song freezes after Throwing Fire it's all reliant on your internet connection speed. You basically caught up with the stream and that's where the music stops playing because it's not loaded yet. It's about 26 MB of music data. We will have a faster way to approach this by tomorrow! :)

You should revisit then!

Awkwardly Entertaining.

I say awkwardly because at a glance, and by glance I mean one look at an image, and the game looks bland. I mean, plainly drawn characters with little to no defining features hardly ever promise quality entertainment, but I took the gamble anyway. To be fair to you(the creator) I started from the first riddle school all the way to this game and my interest grew by game(although Riddle School 4 gave me a headache for a while before I decided to go and look for a walkthrough, only to find I had been fooled). As far as escape games went, yours were easy to understand and the environment wasn't repetitive(in the sense that one object was constantly placed throughout the game because you were to lazy to make it distinctive).

What really hooked me, though, was Riddle School 5. It not only gives the series a deeper meaning and a more tangible storyline(as fun as escaping school is three times, there was no story to speak of), it also opens(ironically) a door to something much bigger than escaping school. With this installation in the Riddle series you've officially given birth to a cast of characters with somewhat of a background and prospective future.

tl;dr In a totally epic sort of way, this game(along with the series) rocks. =D I don't mean to jump on the bandwagon though. Keep them coming.

The game is great!

Music started randomly which caught me off guard a lot of times. I think the mouse should disappear after you grab the pokeball(if possible) it kind of throws you off if you're not sure on how to catch new pokemon.

The dialogue is a little primitive, but it's really funny so props. Great tower game with a nostalgic theme. Would love to see more worlds.

Also, I think Pikachu's growl is a little "too" good. Not that I mind, I needed the relief to get through Viridian forest.

Cute graphics, epic story.

Although the storyline is cliche in some aspects, it delivered very well over all. I was extremely surprised when I saw the doctor's ending. To tell you the truth, I sort of twitched because I was not expecting that at all.

The graphics aren't "the best" in the sense that it's simple, but this did, in no way, affect the quality of the game. Great game over all.

Not jumping on the bandwagon.

So I'm giving you an unbiased review. The game is good, but it isn't "10" quality. I haven't seen any like it around Newgrounds so it's a new type for me, which helped with the 8.

The game DID get noticeably difficult, but it was on a moderate slope so I congratulate you on that, since a good number of games go from easy to easier, or from normal to OMFGITSGODZILLA. The concept of Domo-kun holding off the tsunami isn't revolutionary, but it's completely appropriate. Good job.

A suggestion though, to add some more difficulty you could have made a difficulty where the buttons you had to mash were switched up so they weren't predictable since all of them were the same for every level. Just a suggestion though, the game is good enough as it is.

It isn't horrible...

It describes a fishes life pretty well. You only have ONE life, and other fishes need to feed off of you. I just think the screen could have been a bit bigger.

Hey there! I'm a writer at heart, and do graphic design on the side. If you're interested or need some help on about anything drop me a note, I'd love to help. Pandas rule.
